Do I need a science degree to get a job in pharmaceutical manufacturing?
No. Entry-level operator roles in pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing do not require a science degree, an engineering degree or previous industry experience. What qualifications do I need to work in pharma manufacturing in Ireland?
It depends on the role. For entry-level operator roles, no formal qualifications are required. Employers provide on-the-job training once hired. For more senior roles such as Validation Technician, QA Specialist, or CQV Engineer, a relevant engineering or laboratory science certificate or degree is an advantage.
