Almac has announced 1000 new jobs in Northern Ireland.

Almac is creating 1,800 jobs across its global network, with 1,000 set for Northern Ireland at its sites in Craigavon, Londonderry, and Belfast.

This announcement is on top of 100 new jobs already announced for County Derry.

To see these jobs as soon as they’re advertised, be sure to keep an eye on Ireland’s Largest Pharmaceutical Jobs Board.

Almac is headquartered in Craigavon, Armagh, and celebrated 50 years in business in 2018. At present, the company provides a range of contract pharmaceutical development and manufacturing services.

Alan Armstrong, Almac Group chief executive, told The Belfast Telegraph:

“Over 1,000 of these positions will be based in Northern Ireland and come with a range of benefits including flexible working, competitive salary, and an annual bonus.”

These new jobs will boost the local economy and add to the Pharma and Medical Device manufacturing jobs already in Northern Ireland.
